First Gift of Christmas

Finding the perfect place

Our family has had a tradition for the last 9 years where we get a new ornament to add to our tree. This ornament ties into whatever is happening in our lives at the time. (lots of baseballs, a house, a wedding cake, and baby shoe, etc) This year we decided to pass that on to Brooke and let her open the first gift of Christmas. This year the ornaments that best tied into her world and her interest were DORA and Mickey and friends. She was so excited when she opened them and picked the perfect place on the tree for them. I look forward to continuing this with Brooke and her sister over the years.
