Visiting Ventura

Jen and I met in college and have remained friends since. We have started a "Spring Break" ritual with our kids....we have switched off which house we travel to and try to spend a few days doing lots of fun things with our kids and enjoying mommy time at night. This year I traveled down to Ventura and once again we had so much fun! The kiddos are all so close in age it makes it fun for them to play together. She and her family have played such an important and fun role in our lives. I am so thankful to have her friendship and laughter in mine/our lives! Can't wait for our next visit!

I decided to be really daring and drive 6 1/2 hours down to Ventura with my girlies..........they were rockstars and did so well on the trip. We stayed in Ventura for a few days, then traveled 2 more hours to Orange County to visit my brother and his family. We stayed there for a few days then headed back 7 1/2 hours back to Belmont to celebrate Easter with Scott's family. It was a busy week filled with lots of great new memories!
