Giving Back

Proud "makers" of 35 lunches!

Checking it twice.........

Stuffing the lunchs

Making ham sandwiches

I heard about this great "giving back"opportunity through a friend. It is supporting a school called Mustard Seed, that provides education for children that are homeless. I have been working on this with the student council at my school and it is such a good experience and cause. So Jaclyn and I talked and we decided it would be good for Marren and Brooke to do. So they came over and together the girls made ham sandwiches, packed applesauce, cheese its, animal crackers, juice, and carrots. The girls enjoying being helpers in the kitchen and knew that they were giving food to other kids that were less fortunate. Both my kids are very lucky little girls, but I always want them to know that their are lots of children that are not as fortunate and know that their are ways to give back. Good job girls-I know the kids gobbled up your yummy lunches!
