Thankful for........

Our Little Turkey!

A loving husband

A healthy and precious little girl

A supportive Family

Good friends

A secure job and dependable income

A warm and cozy home

Great memories

*This time of year always reminds me of all the things I am thankful for..... but all year round I am so happy and feel I have been blessed with a great life and all the wonderful people in it!

*We had such a nice time in sharing Thanksgiving Day with Scott's family (all 28 of us). His Aunt Lynn fixed a YUMMY dinner and Brooke just loved being the center of attention. We did round 2 of Thanksgiving today (Friday) with my family. My mom made another great meal (god-I hope I can button my pants for work on Monday) My Nani recently got out of the hosiptal (after 2 months) and it was such a joy to watch her smile as she was surrounded by the love of her family. Each day that has passed over the past five years I have missed my dad dearly and this time of year always seems to be a more difficult time but I know he was watching (along with Grandma and Papa) and sharing in our joy....

*The Holidays are such a special time for Scott and I and we have just loved sharing them with Brooke.

I love my........

NEW CAMERA!!!!!!! I was having trouble with my point and shoot digital camera so I decided it was time to buy a nicer camera (since I love to take pictures) So now I have been running around taking LOTS more pictures. Here are a few pictures of my great models!!!

OC Thanksgiving

Every year we head down to visit my brother and his family in Orange County. We always fix a yummy turkey dinner and catch up! Tien and I were in charge of making the dinner this year and we were pleased with ourselves-it was yummy! It was wonderful to see Kailynn and Brennan. Brooke LOVES her cousins and gave them lots of kisses. I took lots of pictures (that's odd right?)Toby, Tien, Kailynn, and Brennan were great hosts. We had a wondeful time! Of course, as our past few family gatherings have gone we always end up with one "exciting" thing happening. This time it was Scott and his trip to the ER.............Scott was watching a football game and standing next to a pot of bamboo sticks in the Vares family room..........and after watching the 49ers quarterback throw an interception he bent down and said oh man! The only problem was he bent his eye right into the bamboo sticks. After the scary moments and I discovered he could see we took him to the ER. While there, he got 4 stitches and a tetnus shot. He was left with a swollen shut, stitched up, black, blue, and red eye. I am just so thankful that he didn't do any permanent damage (you can check out the pictures to see what he looked like) So he is now wearing sunglasses and the ocassional eye patch (thanks to Kailynn) Thank goodness we took family pictures the night before!!

Once Upon a Time.......

Today we made it to Fairytale Town. The girls had a wonderful time and well Trev he slept the day away. The town is set up in different little "stations" by Fairytale. You can put a magical key in and listen to story and hear music. The girls visited Mother Goose, Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Old Mother Hubbard, The Little Engine that Could, just to name a few. There were lots of slides to go down and objects to climb in and through. The girls loved running around in the big open areas and running and sliding through things! We had another great day! I am sure we will be back to visit again soon!

Fall Fun

Jaclyn and I loaded the kiddos up in her car (3 carseats in a row was quite a sight)ad headed down to Fairytale Town...........only to find out it wasn't open! It is under construction and they changed their hours. Luckily Fairytale Town is located within a large park area. So we took our lunches over to the park and ate a picnic lunch by the pond! After lunch the girls ran around chasing the ducks, playing in the leaves, and climbing on the trees. They were good little models too! The weather and scenery was beautiful, we couldn't resist! We are going to try Fairytale Town again on Thursday....All in all it turned be a fun day in the park! Here are a few pics-more to come!

Bathtime!

Do you notice something different aboout this bath?!?! When Brooke takes a bath we have a little routine we do......... We turn on the water-go get her towel and her pj's ready, then I get her undressed, and I put her in the bath. So tonight we started the water and I said, "lets go get your towel." Next thing I know I hear a "PLOP" and I turn around and there is Brooke in the bath-WITH ALL HER CLOTHES ON!!!! I called for Daddy and we had such a good laugh! Of course I couldn't miss the picture opportunity! We did eventually take a bath-I guess our routine will be changing!
