The backyard all ready for the party

Today was we celebrated Brooke's 3rd birthday. This year she had an opinion about what she wanted so I decided to let her give that opinion. It was fun because she dictated who was going to come, what food we would eat, and what type of dessert we had! So, the first thing she picked was an Ariel theme. She wanted Ariel to come visit and wanted an Ariel bouncy house. Her 2-3 year old year, this has been her favorite movie and Princess. She loves Ariel. SO we went the Ariel theme and it was great! Brooke had her closest friends and family here to celebrate with her and even had a special guest come out too. Ariel actually visited our house. Brooke was in heaven! Ariel told stories, sang songs, made balloon art for the kids. The rest of the party was lots of playing, jumping in the bouncy house, swimming, and good food and fun! Brooke told Marren at the end of the party, "that sure was a great party!" and then asked me when I put her to bed "can we do that all over again tomorrow?". So I guess you could say it was success-the birthday girl had an amazing time, we got to be surrounded by those we love, and we celebrated our little girl turning 3!!!

{Brianne 7 months}

This adorable little girl is 7 months old!!!!! Bri is getting so big and is able to do so much more each day. She is an incredibly happy baby and smiles all the time. At this age a lot of babies don't smile at strangers and don't like to go to new people. Bri is super outgoing and will smile and play peek a boo with anyone! She light up our life and we love her sooo very much!!!

Here is what sh is up to at 7 months:

Weighs 17.5 lbs (80 % for weight and 60% for height)
Wear size 3 diapers
Wear 6 mo, 6-9 mo. clothing
Sleep patterns: 2 -2 hour naps and sleeps from about 7:30-5 then 5-6:30
Still breastfed
Eats oatmeal for breakfast, veggies and fruit for lunch, and meat and veggies for dinner (loves biter biscuits and baby mum mums-they are teething biscuits and make a huge mess)
Sits up on her own ( I accidently left that out of last months)
Has taught herself to fall from a sitting position to then scoot over to what she wants
She loves to roll around on the carpet and does an army crawl to make it to things she wants
Loves her bouncer and excersaucer
Enjoys toys that have lots of lights and music
Dances by swaying back and forth everytime a song is on /she is very on beat (lol)
She LOVES hearing her big sister go on and on..........and she also loves big sisters toys. Brooke is good about sharing with her (but I love that if they are playing with her Disney Little People she makes sure to pick the character that isn't her favorite and give it to Bri)
Has tons of hair-which always has food in it!
Still has the chubbiest cheeks and rolly polly legs
IS SOOOO LOVED!

Harlow and Bri Bri (H3 and B2 as we call them)

Today we went to Brookie's friend Hailey's 3rd birthday~ Hailey had a hoedown! It was lots of fun for the kids! There were horse rides, a petting zoo, a tire swing, and lots of room to run around! Brooke loved the horses and must have gone on at least 15 rides. She also really enjoyed the the tire swing-she spent quite a bit of time on it. Hailey's grandparents live on a ranch and just finished the barn, their horse has not been moved over yet. The girls loved hanging in the barn and running/locking themselves in the horse stalls. Bri enjoyed the fresh air and smiling at everybody (Hailey's grandma said she thinks Bri is the happiest baby ever-lol) Daphne did a great job with all the decorations and all the girls had soo much fun! We had a wonderful day celebrating with great friends!

Clowin' Around Under the Big Top

So much fun!!

Brooke's favorites

Let the circus begin!

The Imps-I thought it was too cute not to share!

Hailey (the birthday girl) Brooke and Hannah-trying to take their pic but you can see they are distracted

Taking in the pre-show

Grammy, Brookie and I headed to the circus today and boy did we have a great time! Brooke loved the circus! We went an hour before the show started because you can go down on the floor and see the clowns and some of the other acts perform. We didn't go with the Impey's but they surprised Hailey for her birthday and ended up at the same show! So it was fun for the girls to take in the pre-activities together. We said bye to our friend, then we headed to our seats (which were only a few rows up) and took in the action. There were elephants, horses, tigers, horses, motorcycles, clowns, trapeze, and all the other circus favorites! Brooke's eyes were all over the place-checking out each little thing that was happening. She told me her favorite was the elephants but she also like the really tall guys (stilts..lol). She then added that she really liked the people on swings and the "jumpy" guys (this trampoline act) and of course the tigers! Thanks Grammy for a great day! A special thanks to Shelby for watching Bri!
