A natural-reading her magazine while getting her hair done

Auntie Lori did a great job with all the make up!

After a year of planning the big wedding day was finally here! Liz and Erik had a beautiful wedding and reception. Having both girls there was crazy (thanks mom and aunt lori for all the help) but so worth it to see them all dressed up and getting to show them off is always fun. Brooke did an amazing job as the flower girl. She walked right on cue (all by herself) and sat through the whole ceremony, even laughed at the jokes! Liz looked beautiful and the place was a perfect venue. We were so happy to be a apart of their wonderful day and are so happy for them! I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked but chasing the girls was a full time job....and the I had to protect my hair from the windstorm (lol)...and of course during the reception I was too busy dancing!

For Liz and Erik's rehershal we did a quick run through at Murrieta's Well and then headed over to Campo de Bocce (a restaurant in Livermore) for some yummy food and a Bocce competition. It was a great night. Brooke was thrilled because Uncle Erik picked out a special Jesse Doll for the Flower Girl!!!! She loved the open area and ran around playing "Toy Story". Scott loved the Bocce competition and he and his dad were quite the team, winning all their matches. Grandpa was a real Bocce Ringer-he found his sport! It was great celebration before the big event!

Silly Girls!!!

I was feeding Bri and laughed to myself about messy her face gets when she eats, then I looked over at Brooke who was sitting next to me and I laughed because after gobblilng her ice cream up this is how her face looked!

Chocolate Ice cream is her favorite!!!

Brooke thought it would be fun to try the Mr. Potato head parts on sister!!!
Cowgirl Brookie-She has decided that she really likes Jesse from Toy Story and that is who she wants to be for Halloween, she likes to wear some of the costume pieces around the house.

I love these two little girls, they make me laugh a million times a day! My camera is still in the shop but my friend Shelby let me borrow hers so I was able to capture a few of my girls silly moments this week!

Brianne {6 months}

Today it has been 1/2 a year since Brianne made our world an even better place. Now her birth name is Brianne, but she is Bri Bri, Bri , Breezy, Happy Gilmore, Turkey, etc........Poor kid responds to about every name you call her. She is just an amazing little baby......so chill and so HAPPY (hence the nickname Happy Gilmore). She is so even tempered and has a great little schedule going. She is a good eater, has great sleeping habits, and is always HAPPY! I can not explain how loved this kid is-Her dad and I are madly in love with her and her sister adores her! 6 months ago was an amazing day and it just keeps getting better.

Here is what Bri-Bri is up to at 6 months:
Wear 6-9, 6-12 months clothes
Wear size 3 diaper
Is still nursing (pumping is sooo fun for mom-lol)
Eats baby food for breakfast and dinner
LOVES veggies, but not a huge fruit fan
Still a rolly polly, with lots of rolls on her legs!
Sits up on her own, even reaches and moves for her toys
Still a belly sleeper
Take two 1 1/2 -2 hour naps and then a short nap around dinner time
Still sleeps through the night
Smiles and laughs all the time
Loves her jumper and excersaucer
Is getting interested in all her toys
Teething and drooling like a mad woman!
Is adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*An updated pic coming soon! I am hoping to take her 6 months pics soon. Also her 6 month check up isn't until the 31st ( I will give updated stats then)

Best Buds

Just wanted to share a cute story: So I got home from work the other day and Brooke wanted to read and play in her room. So while I ran downstairs to get something I left Bri in there to play with her sister. When I came back upstairs I peeked in and saw the cutest thing. Brooke had Bri all set up to have a picnic with her. She was reading her books and feeding her play food. Brooke would talk to Bri and Bri would smile back at her. It was a glimpse at how much fun those two are going to have over the years, growing up as sisters and best buds! Again, camera is still in the shop so trying to capture the moment with my point and shoot.

Bathing Beauties

Just wanted to give you a glimpse at our bath routine. Each night we put Brooke in the bath first and get her all washed up, then we put Brianne in the bath and Brooke holds her. We get Brianne all washed up and she gets passed to Daddy and gets in her pj's. Brooke then gets to play for a while in the bath. She is really good with Bri and always make sure sisters head doesn't get near the water. She loves watching Bri kick in the bath tub. Both my girlies love the bath, which makes it an easy routine each night. Now my nice SLR is in the camera shop so the pictures are taken with my point and shoot, so its not as easy to catch their smiles (its slower than my SLR).

Look at my new trick!

Couldn't pick between these two-they were both too cute!

You can also see all my drool-since I am getting my first tooth too!

Brianne actually learned this trick a few weeks ago but I have been a little slow to capture the picture of it. She is loving being able to sit up and see all that is going on around her. She is starting to play with new toys too since she can sit up and play with them. She is getting to be such a big girl!!!

First Day of School 2010-2011

They are amazing!

Brooke ready for day 1 of preschool!

So the fun is over, summer officially came to an end!!!! Which also means my 5 months of maternity leave also ended..............BUMMER! So back to the grind and routine we go. Although I will miss my girls I know where they are going is a safe and loving environment. I know that they being well taken care of and learning a lot. I know they love the activities and their friends there. I feel so blessed to have these beautiful children and to have a job where I can spend sooo much time with them. So the days will be hard, busy, and crazy but I fee lucky to have a job and all the nice things that my income provides for our family. As a friend told me it is not about the quantity of time you spend with your children it is about the quality of time you spend..........so when work is over it is all about family! I will cherish every moment I have our two little ladies!

Girl-Fest!

The whole crew (including the babies) Love that Brooke was sneaking in a little kiss for her sister

The "big girls"
Hannah (4), Danielle (5), Alyssa (2), Hailey (2), Breanna (4), Kaitlyn (2), Emerson (2), Brooke (2)

Ring around the rosies

I love the smiles and laughter on these little ones faces-they are just truly enjoying being kids and each other!

Our good friends, Alison and Kye moved to the Bay Area about 2 years ago. We miss them lots and try to get together when we can, they have some many friends that live her. So we hosted the 2nd Annual -HUff BBQ so that all their/our friends that live around here can hang out for the night. We had 5 families and 11 kiddos and only 10 of them were GIRLS!!! The girls really enjoyed eachothers company. They swam, they played on the swing set, and I am pretty sure they somehow used every toy in our house! It was a great night with super friends! Looking forward to the 3rd Annual!

Soakin' up the last of our summer fun!

Thanks Shelby, Baillie, and Blake for our matching suits!

Hard to believe but summer is coming to an end. We visited the Woodcreek Waterpark with Rylee and Delaney earlier this week. The girls loved the slide and squirting each other with water hoses. It was a cooling way to escape the heat. We are looking forward to Rylee's birthday party at the waterpark in a few weeks!
