Leader of the Pack..........vrmm...vrmm...

What perfect timing .........the day after Brooke got a bike for her birthday her school was having "Bike Sharing Day". The kids got to bring their bikes in and decorate them and then at the end of class they got to have a parade. Brooke was super excited because where her bike ended up being parked she got to be the leader of the parade! She had so much fun! The favors for the kids
On Sunday we had Brooke's 4th Birthday Party. Months ago my little party planner picked a Rapunzel theme. I let her choose the food, the cake, the favors, the decorations. It was fun that she wanted to have so much input-made it even more special for her. Most of her friends (we missed our pals that couldn't come) were able to come and she was in heaven running around the park with all of them. We had a painting station, a sidewalk station, and then a great park for them to climb and run about. The past three years Brooke's birthday has been scorching!!! This year it was much cooler and even sort of windy! So that was a nice change. Such a great day and soo much fun for Brooke. In fact when she got home she asked if we could do it all over again tomorrow!!! Brooke is such a social kid and truly loves all of her friends and all the relationships that they have! I am so thankful she can be surrounded by so many wonderful friends. Thanks to all our friends and family that were there for our little Brookie and a special thanks to my mother n law and mom for all their help!

Fully Charged at the Circus

Visiting the elephants, tigers, horses, and zebras before the show
You can go on the stage before the show-so Brooke liked to watch all the acts but she really liked the dancers. Her she is learning the dance

Thanks Grammy for taking us to the circus!!! And for the program and treats!!!
Brooke and Mommy
Fully Charged!

Last Sunday we went to the circus and Brooke LOVED it!!! We got there about an hour before because you can go see the animals and go down on the floor and meet the clowns and see short performances. Brooke remembered this from last year. She said she wanted a " book" so the clowns could sign it. So she got her program and enjoyed collecting autographs, learning to dance, watching clowns, and a trapeze act. Brooke munched on a icee throughout the show and was completely focused on all the acts. Her two favorites were the "flippers" and she called them and the "muscle men"! She has asked everyday since we went if its time to go back to the circus yet again! Thanks Grammy for treating us to a great time!

Hula by the Pool-A

Learning to Hula

Grandma and Grandpa got to take a quick pic before the Luau and after their visit for the weekend

Last weekend we celebrated Hula Style by the Pool with our dear friend Hailey! All the kids looked so adorable dressed in their Hawaiian get ups! At the party they had Hula dancers that showed the girls different dances and taught them two hula dances. The girls were in awe the entire performance and had so much fun learning how to Hula. They all had a blast in the pool too! Daph had the place decorate super cute and gave it great Luau feeling-good job Daph!! We were so glad we could be there to celebrate one of favorite friends!!!!

Labor day weekend

The whole gang..........Yes you see that right........8 girls under the age of 5!!!
My bathing beauties.........
Loving their sleepover
Trying to catch some crawdads.........
For Labor Day weekend we headed to Tahoe for 2 nights with the Impeys and Lauers. The Imps were so gracious to let us all cram into their cabin. We had such a fun time hanging at the cabin, attempting to catch some crawdads, swimming, taking the boat for a ride and playing in the sand. The girls were just in heaven surrounded by their friends which makes all the "work" of traveling worth it! Glad we have such great friends to enjoy life with! Thanks again Impeys and Lauers for the awesome time!!!
