Making Memories on Memorial Day Weekend

YEE HAW!!!

The cowboys..

The girlies!

One of my favorite wineries!!! Kramere!

Sisters getting ready for the bbq

On their "date" a little Mac and Cheese for dinner and a late night cruise in the convertible

WOW!!! This was a whirlwind memorial day weekend-jam packed with fun!!! We kicked off the weekend and partied with friends while taking in some Tim McGraw!!! He was awesome and we had such a fun time with our friends! Then we went for our 2nd annual wine tasting with the Boden's. It was so nice, we visited some wineries and enjoyed a nice picnic lunch outside by the vineyards! Then we had back to back bbq's!! The Perry's and Boden's came over for some swimming (yes-it was finally hot enough to swim). Brooke was so excited to see her "boyfriend" (her words not mine) Drew (who was the ring bearer with her at the wedding). They had a fun time swimming and cruising in Brooke's mustang! Then to top it off on Monday the Impey's hosted a bbq. Brooke loved spending the evening with her girlfriends-There were .........wait for it........8 girls!!!!!! and 1 lucky boy!!!!! They dressed as princesses and played with books and barbies! It was such an amazing weekend of fun...........We are so blessed to have so many wonderful friends!!!!

Glam Girlz!

One of my favorite things with these two little ones is to dress them the same. In fact Brooke loves it too! When we get dressed in the morning she always asks if sister has the same thing. The cute little glam girl/sunglass shirts had to be captured by my camera!

Carrie Underwood

Carrie got on this truck to sing and it went around the entire arena-it was cool!

Last night I got my birthday present from 5 years ago (lol). About 5 years ago Scott gave a "gift certificate" to go to a Carrie Underwood concert. Well she FINALLY came to Sacramento, so Scott bought me tickets to go. I went with Jaclyn, Sara, and Whitney. It was a fun girls night out and Carrie did not disappoint. She was AWESOME!!!!!

{Brianne-3 Months}

Getting my arms ready to roll on over

There I am now I am on my tummy what to do?

I LOVE THIS LITTLE GIRL!!!! OMG!! She is the sweetest little thing ever. Brianne continues to be such an amazing baby. She is so chill ( I had to laugh the other day when she was sleeping in the swing, while her sister was blowing her flute as loud as she could about 2 inches from her-she didn't move a muscle!)

At 3 months here is what Bri is up to:
Wearing size 1 diapers, moving to size 2
Wearing size 3-6 months clothes
She has really chubby cheeks and lots of rolls on her legs
SHE ROLLS OVER!!!!! She goes from belly to back and just did back to belly today.
She hasn't lost any of her hair and it is still super dark and has perfect highlights
She is coos and smiles a lot
She still loves her activity gym and floor time
She loves to listen to books with her sister and smiles when she hears her sisters voice

She still makes us smile everyday!

STAR Swimmer

Ready to Go to Swim Lessons

Big arms...Pull, Pull

High 5's for doing an awesome job!

Swimming under water all by myself to get the rings

I love floating!

Brooke is working hard on her caterpillars

Brooke started swim lessons last week. Since she is not three yet we can't enroll her in any programs through the city, so this year we signed her up for private lessons through STAR SWIM SCHOOL. The first day she jumped right into the pool to meet her teacher Miss Kelli. Brooke has always been a little dare devil and jumped right into the pool. Last year she used water wings and floated around the pool on her own. Miss Kelli did some warm ups then tried to get Brooke to do some swimming on her own. Brooke did it, but wasn't a huge fan of it. I knew we needed to practice at home and get her used to the water again and not having a floating device. We practiced both days on the weekend and she did SUPER! We practiced all the things she learned at Swim class and she LOVED it. At lessons this week she was very anxious to show Miss Kelli all that she had been practicing. Brooke was AWESOME. She was swimming on her own to the wall, going under water to get rings, floating with little support, jumping off the edge, using big arms and kickers. Just in her 3 lessons she has learned so much-I know she will a great swimmer!.................I am looking forward to a fun year out at the pool with our new little STAR swimmer!

Once Upon a Time....at Fairytale Town

Leaving the castle

The treehouse

Cinderella's Pumpkin

The Little Engine that Could

Brooke taking in the sites!

On Friday we headed back to Fairytale town (I took Brooke when she was like a little over a year). It is a cute little park that has castles, slides, little climbing structures, and other little things all centered around fairy tales and nursery rhymes. We went with our friends the Impeys-the girls had so much running around and exploring the park. We even got to feed the ducks at the bark afterward! I love spending the day with my girls and good friends!

Tigers and Bears-Oh MY!

Checking out the bears while they eat their lunch!

Our 3 Little Bears

Bunny Love!

Enjoying the train!

Today we headed to the Folsom Zoo with Marren, Trevor, and Jaclyn. The Folsom Zoo is very small and is for animals that have been rescued. It is the perfect size for our kids to run around and look at the animals. The tigers and bears were right out there for us to see too! Brooke's favorite part of the zoo is the train ride you can take. The kids had a great day and enjoyed checking out the animals and cruising on the train.

My two beauties!

Grammy and her girls

At the Spa ready for our massage

Topping off the night at ColdStones....yummy!!

Wow what a great mommy's day I had...........I am so lucky to be blessed with such a wonderful mother and two amazing daughters. Today my mom and I went to lunch and I treated her to a hot stone massage (and Scott treated me to one too). Then I spent the afternoon with my girls. Scott took us out to Sushi (my favorite) and some ice cream to top off the evening. I couldn't have asked for a better day spending it with my favorite people!!!!! Happy Mommy's Day to all of you too!

Fantastic Flower Girl

Flower Girl

The Seffens'

Daddy and Brookie

We already have them going to prom together

The stunning Bride!!!

Getting her hair done!

I was so worried about Brooke being the flower girl at Sara and Chris' wedding. You never want your kid to be the one that messes things up at a wedding...........and we all know at 2 1/2 you never what to except! BROOKE WAS AMAZING!!!!! I honestly could not have asked for her to behave any better. She was awesome for pictures and smiled away (without bribery). She was in LOVE with the ring bearer Drew and they walked right down the aisle and she stood so quietly during the ceremony and marched back on cue. I am so thankful that is all worked out and of course she was adorable!!! She will be ready to go for Auntie Lizzy's wedding in August!
