Helping Daddy blow out the candles
With Scott's birthday being so close to Halloween and it being such a busy time of year we did a combo of a birthday dinner and pumpkin carving. We went to Evos and gobbled up soem fish taces, ate some cake and got busy on our pumpkins. Bri got her hands dirty for alittle bit but then did like the feeling of it but enjoyed watching Mommy and Daddy carve. Brooke preferred to clean the pumpkins out with a spoon and help us do the carving. We all have very cute pumpkins!!!!!!! It was lots of fun for all!

Craft time!

This is our second annual Halloween get together with the Impeys, Lauers, and Sayles. It was a blast. The kids painted pumpkins, played with Play-doh, made beaded necklaces, colored, and played with every toy in the house (or so it looked...lol) They all looked so cute in their costumes and had fun showing them off!

Last year Krista and I met at Del Osso Pumpkin Patch and it poured...so this year we decided to try again and we got much better weather. In fact it was hot! The girls had so much fun getting their faces painted, running through the play area, riding the spinning pumpkin ride, riding the train (despite a very long wait) sharing lots of snacks, and of course picking good pumpkins to carve! I always enjoy the days Krista and I get to spend together watching our girls friendships blossom! I am looking forward to our next visit!

Pumpkin Patch Fieldtrip

QUICKLY picking the perfect pumpkin
Soaking wet, but loving the patch
Last week Scott and I took the day off to accompany Brooke to the pumpkin patch with her preschool class. Rain was predicted but it was not going to be heavy.............WELL NOT THE CASE! From the moment we arrived in the parking it poured! They ended up canceling the trip but one of Brooke's good buddies Miles and his mom were going to stay. So we decided what the heck we will stay too! We were able to go on the train, play on some of the slides, take a short tractor ride and pick a pumpkin. It was not ideal but Brooke had a blast and that is what is important!!! I am glad Miles was there too!

Happy Birthday Grandpa-Your girls love you!

Last weekend we went to the San Fran Zoo with Grandma, Grandpa, Lizzie, Erik, and Baby Natalie. It was so much fun! Both girls loved the freedom to run around and look at all the animals. Bri was so excited to see all the ones she knew and Brooke was very curious about all the animals! They loved riding the train and the carousel too. We celebrated Grandpa's birthday after too! It was so nice to spend the day together and a bonus ...we got to play with Natalie too! Thanks Seffens/Masalin family for a wonderful day!
