Swimmin' Good Time

It has been really HOT the past few days and we have been patiently waiting to use our pool. So we decided to take a dip. Brooke loved it, she got in over and over!! She kept saying MAMA-I IN DA POOL! We have gone in the last three days we even had some friends join us too

(Danielle, Alyssa, Marren and Trev) We are looking forward to many wonderful times in the pool!

So Cal Easter Weekend

For Easter this year we headed down to SoCal to see the Vares Family. We had an action packed weekend and so much fun. Of course I was there to capture it all with my camera! Toby and Tien were such wonderful hosts and as always we loved hanging with our family.

We knew that we wanted to take some pictures of the kiddos and what better place than the beach. So we got off the airplane and roared to the beach. The wind was HORRIBLE, so the picture taking didn't go to well. We would have round 2 later




My birthday is next weekend so my family had a yummy rib dinner (one of my favorites) and surprised me with cupcakes from this amazing bakery in Newport!



Then on Friday Tien got tickets for the ladies and kids to go to Disneyland. The boys went golfing. We didn't do the entire day but started about 10 and left around 5Brooke isn't really into Disney stuff yet but she enjoyed the scenery and the rides we did take her on. It was really crowded too(since it was Spring Break)! It was crazy but we had a good time and I look foward to taking Brooke back when she can appreciate all the magic!









Then on Saturday we went to the Easter Picnic that Tien and her friends hosted. Everyone brought yummy food to share, the Easter bunny came for a visit, there was an Easter Egg hunt, egg toss, and sack races! Brooke had such a wonderful time and even got some eggs!











We took Round 2 of the pictures with the Easter Bunny (guess who is the Easter bunny.....Tien!) We put the kids in the bath and let them have some Cousin time. They were exhausted and needed their sleep for their next egg hunt!








The Easter Bunny visited. When we woke up the bunny left them each a full basket! (Baskets were a gift from Grammy)He even hid eggs all over the house. Kailynn of course racked up the most eggs but she was a good helper and let Brooke get some too!

Evo/Seffens Easter

Today the Evos came over the second annual Evo/Seffens Easter. This year we let the girls color Easter eggs. It was hilarious....Brooke was eating the dye-GROSS!!!! They were both trying to put as many eggs as they could in one color. But to our surprise they each got 1/2 a dozen eggs colored. We had an egg hunt and a yummy ham dinner. We feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends that are like family. It is so fun to watch the kids grow up together. We look forward to many more Seffens/Evo Easter dinners!

Our trip to Ventura

One of my good friends from college Jen Kimble and I try to get together as much as possible being we live on different ends of California. The past two years she has come to Sac with her two boys (Carter and Braydon). This year she has three kiddos and I only have one so it was my turn to head down to see her in Ventura. It was so nice to have all the kids together and to catch up with Jen. They treated us great and made sure that we were well taken care of (my job was to make the pitchers of margaritas each night). We had such a nice time. The kids played at the park, went to Fo Fo Figgley's (which is a huge indoor play place with lots of slides and climbing area), and Brookie even got to experience the ocean for the first time. Thanks Kimble family for the wonderful time!!! Can't wait for our next visit!!!!!!!!
