Scott and I went to Cabo last week for a good friends wedding and it didn't disappoint. We stayed at an All Inclusive hotel called Dreams, which was gorgeous. The food was wonderful and having people wait on you all day isn't to shabby either! We hung out by the pool, walked the beach, enjoyed the bars and nightclub (pretty sad when the waiters know you by name and wave at you when you walk in) The wedding was on Friday and was beautiful! We had a blast!We are so thankful for our parents that took such great care of Brooke so we could have a week just for the two of us!

Summer Fun

We have been very busy this summer between trips, playdates, swimming, and of course all the new learning that is taking place. Brooke is really into puzzles and do all the shapes, animals and color matching fish! She has learned to count to 10 and sings the beginning of the ABC song (she gets to D)!

Brooke got an early birthday gift and got a tricycle that we can push her on. I wanted her to be able to enjoy it this summer so we gave it to her early. She has been riding up and down our street and to the park. She loves it, especially the bell!

Brooke has always loved books but now if borderline obsessed with them!!! She is a bookworm! We took our first visit to the library with Hannah and Hailey. The girls had so much fun! We will be going back again soon!




Brooke has always been very curious but now that she is getting older.... she is able to get herself into some big TROUBLE!! She can easily get out of her crib and when she is done napping she does just that! Instead of calling her mom or dad, she prefers to get into all her drawers and closet so that she can make a HUGE MESS!!! These are two pictures I couldn't resist taking! We have painted Brookie's big girl room and daddy will be putting her bed together today (I will add pics of that later). I tried to keep her in her crib for as long as possible but it's time. So this will be another new adventure!!

Blue Lake Springs

This past week we headed up with the Evos to Blue Lake Springs/Arnold to stay at Scott's Aunt & Uncle's cabin. It was a fun week filled with lots of laughter, fun in the sun, scrapbooking, and many new memories!!! We took the kids to Snowflake Lodge for some swimming, sand, and playground fun! Brooke also had her first fishing experience-She even touched the fish!!!! When the kids were sleeping the moms got to scrapbook!!!! We are so thankful for the Godfrey's generosity and letting us use their lovely cabin and for our wonderful friends who we love dearly!!

We had such a fun time celebrating the 4th of July with Chico friends. We put some ribs on the bbq and had all the yummy sides to go with it! Chris, Sara, Chris, Erica, Drew, and Kate joined us for swimming, good food, and fireworks! Brooke and Drew had so much fun together and played so well (although I think Brooke was in shock to play with a boy, since most of our parties have all little girls). The boys did a great job with the firework show. Brooke wasn't sure about the fireworks at first but ended up loving them! She even asked to go see more around the corner. It was great way to celebrate Independence Day!
