Hustle and Hope was a fundraiser put on by my school distric to support research for Leukemia. I have been running in races lately and Scott brings the girls to watch the races, and each time Brooke always says she wants to run with me. So the Hustle and Hope sponsored a 1/4 mile fun run for kids. I felt it would be a fun mommy/big daughter opportunity. It was awesome to run a with Brooke. She did amazing and her lung held up (which is always a worry for me) and she wasn't even huffing and puffing at the end! She was a great sport and hung out in the stroller while mommy ran her race too! I enjoy doing these activites with Brooke as she growing up. I always want my kids to be active and involved in keeping their bodies healthy. I was proud of Brookie!!!

We got our baskets and we are ready to go!
The bunny left eggs for the girls...pink for Brooke and purple for Bri.......that clever little Bunny (no swiping the little sisters eggs)
Look what the Bunny brought us!!!!!!
I love holidays!!! Easter was so fun this year............Brooke woke up estatic to find her eggs and see what the bunny left her. Bri was just happy to tag along with sister..........I think she might have really thought the bunny was downstairs (lol) They loved going through their baskets and finding eggs. We had cinnamon "bun"nies and easter shaped pancakes before heading the Sammie and Ricks. We ate our first meal and enjoyed an egg hunt and afternoon with the Gustafson family. We headed over to Dawn and Ross's house for a yummy ham dinner and a visit with my family. It was such a nice afternoon and so good to see both sides of our family. Everyone enjoyed seeing the girls........they sure were tired at the end of the day.
This was the first year we werent down visiting Toby and his family, that was a little sad. We missed our time with them, but looking forward to a few visits this summer!

Egg-celent Time
All ready to dye some eggsOur littlest dipper!
These girls were like professionals!
Look a how bright our Kool Aid eggs are!
Forget the scooper I'll just use my hand
One of our other special traditions is dying eggs with the Evos. They always come over and we set up "shop" out on the back lawn. This year I went for more eggs (cause they love doing them) and we tried Kool-aid eggs (idea from Pinterest). All the eggs looked great and the big girls were starting to get into the double dipping of two different colors. We always such an egg-celent time on our egg dying day!
Easter Traditions
We are so thankful to have so many wonderful friends. We have been so close with the Evos for so long now they have become family. We celebrate all the holidays together and have so many little Evo/Seffens traditions together now. For that I am so very grateful. One our Easter traditions is to have a Yummy Ham dinner and an egg hunt. Jaclyn hosted a great dinner with lots of goodies and the kids had a blast looking for eggs and going through their treasures! What a great way to start Spring!

Spring Party
Little Miss Attitude
Such a sweet moment...............Brooke helping her friend Kai move his walker so he can participate in the egg hunt..........my heart melted at how sweet she was to stop what she was doing and help a friend in need
Sissy helping out!Last Friday, Brooke had her Spring party and they invited the parents for an egg hunt at the end of class. Brooke had such a fun time looking for eggs..........I noted this on facebook, but the best part of this day for me was watching Brooke show how naturally kind hearted she is, while helping a friend in need.
I love having the breaks from school so I can enjoy the school activities and time off with my girlies!
Early Easter
Last weekend we wenr to Grandma and Grandpa's to have an early Easter because they were going to be gone for Easter. We got to enjoy a yummy brunch and time with our cutie niece Natalie. Of course the girls loved taking care of her and playing with her. The had a little Easter egg hunt and Brooke got to dye some eggs with Grandma too! It was a great day to see our wonderful family!
