Happy 4th of July

We deciced to have all our friends over for a bbq and pool party for the 4th of July. It was lots of fun! The kids (and some of that got pushed in the pool) enjoyed swimming, crafts, and yummy food. The Daddies put on a great firework show. I love holidays and friends-so it made me happy to host a fun day!

Learning to Ride

Brooke enjoyed riding the horses at Marren's birthday party in Februaury, when the groupon came up for horseback riding lessons, I knew I needed to get it. Brooke and Marren had fun learning to control their horse, they took them through an obstacle course, and even used whips to make their horses go faster. Brooke loved these lessons and is claiming this is her favorite thing we've done all summer! Guess now we gotta get daddy to buy her horse -lol!

Kids Love Soccer

Brooke is playing her second season of Kidz love Soccer with her buddy Rylee. Each week she is getting more agressive and seeing the purpose of the game and drills. It is a good warm up for her first year of playing in a soccer league and is keeping her active this summer!

Scott and I are not super religious people, but I do want my girls to have the option to believe in a faith and to have the same knowledge about the bible that we were given. We decided to try out a Vacation Bible School a friend reccommended, and it was a hit! The kids really enjoyed going each evening and Brooke learned some new bible stories, songs, and a lot about being kind and good character traits. They also go to do fun activities each night too!

Happy Father's Day!

We spent actual Father's Day swimming and bbqing with the Evos. This is our 4th year having Ryan and Scott spend their special day together and they enjoy that. The kids had a blast swimming and playing in the pool!

We celebrated Father's Day on Saturday with Scott's dad at his sister's house. They hosted a super yummy bbq and we enjoyed some family time in the pool. The girls were happy to spend time with grandma & grandpa, and Aunt and Uncle and Natalie too!!!

Right after school got out we went camping at Pinecrest Lake with the Evos. This is a place where Scott and Ryan went camping and fishing as kids. It was fun to take our kids! We went fishing, went to the outdoor movies, swam in the lake, played in the sand, and made lots of memories by the fire. We enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors with super friends!
